This article provides a high-level overview of the Admin Portal sections specific to managing Awardco Recognition and its underlying user configurations, aligned to the latest multi-product admin navigation.
Accessing the Admin Portal
To access the Admin Portal:
- Navigate to your company recognition page, usually `yourcompany.awardco.com`.
- Use your credentials to sign in, either via email invitation or through Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Click the Admin Portal link at the bottom of the left navigation menu.

The following sections cover, at a high level, the different areas of the Admin Portal and what settings they contain.
Note: Super Admins will have access to all the sections listed below. You may not be able to see/have access to specific sections based on your role’s permissions.
Insights
The Insights section is your central hub for dashboards, reports, and engagement analytics.

Users
The Users section provides core functionality for managing user data, setting up metadata, and defining roles and permissions—critical for controlling survey distribution and reporting access.

Important Note on User Data:
While you can view and edit a user's account information or archive/restore them on the Users tab, it is strongly discouraged. Your HRIS system and subsequent user file transfers are the main source of truth for your user database. Any changes made directly in the Awardco platform will likely be overwritten during the next user file import. We recommend making all user updates within your HRIS.
Platform
The Platform section contains administrative controls for managing core system behavior, authentication, integrations, and key communication settings.
