This article explains the Branding Settings page within the Admin portal, where you can customize the visual appearance of your organization’s recognition platform.
Navigate to Branding Settings
To access the Branding Settings page:
- On the homepage, select the “Admin” button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
- From the left navigation menu, click “Customize,” and then select “Branding”.
General
On this page, you can modify the following:
- Company Information
- Company Name: Edit the name of your company as it appears on the platform.
- Company URL: This field is not editable. If changes are necessary, reach out to your Awardco point of contact.
- Company Logo: You can upload a logo file in one of the following formats: .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .svg, or .webp. For optimal display, we recommend uploading a logo with a width of 900px for rectangular logos or a height of 300px for square logos.
-
Progressive Web App (PWA)
- PWA Name: Enter the name for your Progressive Web App.
- PWA Logo: Upload a logo specifically for the PWA. The recommended dimensions are 512x512 pixels.
- Brand Colors: The colors you input here will define the color scheme for your organization's platform instance. The generated color palette will meet accessibility standards for contrast and visibility, ensuring suitability for users with visual impairments.
- Primary Color: Choose your organization's main brand color.
- Secondary Color: Select an accent or highlight color that will be used throughout the platform's navigation.
- Navigation Brand Gradient: This toggle is on by default and applies the brand color gradient to your platform's navigation bar. To use your organization's Primary Color instead of the generated gradient, toggle this setting off. The navigation text color will automatically adjust to maintain accessibility color ratios when the gradient is disabled.
- Advanced Settings
- Sub-Companies: This feature allows for unique branding configurations applicable to users with specific metadata. This means you can have different platform branding for various segments of your organization. Please consult with your Awardco point of contact during this process to ensure accurate setup. To create a sub-company branding instance:
- Click “Add Sub-Company”.
- Select the metadata that distinguishes the specific area of your business requiring unique branding.
- Enter the desired Sub-Company Name.
- Upload a Sub-Company logo.
- If your organization uses the PWA, enter the Sub-Company PWA Name and Logo.
- Input the primary and secondary color hex codes for the sub-company.
- Click “Save Changes”.
- To make changes to an existing sub-company's branding, click the pencil icon next to its name. To delete a sub-company branding instance, click the trash can icon.
Remember to click “Save Changes” after modifying any settings in the General section.
