This article provides a simple yet comprehensive overview of your new recognition platform. Follow these steps to get up to speed and start recognizing and redeeming within minutes!
Note: This guide is designed for the Awardco Recognition platform. If your organization uses Awardco Engage exclusively, your experience will focus on providing feedback through surveys, and the "Recognize" and "Redeem" features will not be available.
How to Login
- Navigate to your company recognition page, usually yourcompany.awardco.com. If you're unsure of the exact URL, go to the Awardco website and select ‘Sign In’. Enter your email address, and if it matches our records, you'll receive a code to access your company's login page.
- Sign in via password, SSO, or login code.
Note: If this is your first time logging in, you'll be asked to review and accept the platform's terms and conditions, along with the privacy policy.
How to Update Profile and Preferences
- Click on Profile Icon in the top right corner
- Click "My Profile" - here you can update information such as preferred name, picture, password, language, phone number etc. Reference this article for a thorough walkthrough of all you can update in My Account settings.
How to Recognize
Note: Depending on your organization's specific configuration, the ability to submit recognitions may vary.
- From the homepage begin recognizing in one of the following locations:
- The “Recognize” button in the top right hand corner.
- The “Recognize” link in the left navigation menu.
- The “Who do you want to recognize” widget”.
- Enter the name of the person(s) you want to recognize and click "Next".
- If your company has more than one program, select which one the recognition will be associated with and click “Next”.
- Detail the reason for your recognition.
- Select an award amount and/or "tag" or value for your recognition, if available to you.
- When finished click "Submit" and your recognition will be uploaded to the feed.
- Schedule Send: Want to celebrate a win at the perfect moment? Your platform administrator may allow you to set your recognition for a future date. Once scheduled, your message and any necessary approvals will automatically process on the day you've chosen.
- Note: To view recognitions you've scheduled, begin creating a new recognition (step 1) and they'll show there.

How to Redeem Points
- On the homepage, select “Marketplace” then “Spend Points” from the left navigation menu.
- Find your item, whether it be a gift card, Amazon item, or virtual prepaid card.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your shipping details and finalize your redemption.
