Key Features
The mobile app provides a secure, streamlined experience with the full user functionality you're used to, now optimized for your phone:
Instant Access with Biometric Login: Log in instantly and securely with your device's native Face ID or Touch ID, if available to you. (You’ll still need to login with SSO or username/email and password when you login for the first time or as frequently as your organization requires).
Real-Time Push Notifications: Get instant alerts on your phone when you receive recognition or when a new survey is available for you to complete. If this feature is enabled by your company. (You can edit your notification settings within the mobile app by going to My Profile → Notifications; You must also grant device permissions for notifications to be sent by the app).
Recognize & Reward: Easily send recognitions and rewards to your colleagues, if this is part of your program (if enabled for your organization).
Take Surveys: Access and complete employee engagement surveys on the go.
Social Feed: View all the great work being recognized across your organization.
Redeem: Browse the marketplace and use your points to redeem rewards (if enabled for your organization).
Downloading and Logging In
Getting started is simple:
Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your phone.
Search for "Awardco".
Download and install the app.
Launch the app and enter the email associated with your Awardco account to verify your organization's domain.
Check your email inbox for the verification email and click the "Select this account" link.
Note: This verification link needs to be opened on the same device where you installed the app.
You will then be brought to your organization's platform login page. Log in using your company's standard process (SSO or username/email and password).
Setting up Biometric Login (Face ID/Touch ID)
Biometric Login allows you to quickly and securely access the app in the future without entering your full credentials every time.
How to Enable It: After you log in for the first time with your standard company authentication:
The app will prompt you to enable Biometric Login (Face ID or Touch ID, depending on your device).
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm and enable the feature.
How to Manage It: You are always in control and can enable or disable this feature anytime:
Go to My Profile → Settings.
Note: You may still need to log in using your company's standard authentication method from time-to-time. Your organization determines the frequency of these logins.
Managing Push Notifications
Push notifications provide real-time alerts for recognitions and other events.
Requirements for Notifications to Work: For you to receive push notifications, three things must be true:
Your company must have enabled the feature.
You must grant permission for the app to send you notifications on your mobile device when prompted.
You must be opted-in to receive notifications within the app.
How to Manage Your Notification Preferences: You can manage what alerts you receive within the app:
Go to My Profile → Settings → Notifications.
Important Things to Know
No Point Purchases: You cannot purchase points through the mobile app (if your organization allows this feature). This action must be completed on the full desktop website.
Platform Host Location: The app currently only supports companies hosted on US-based servers. If your company is hosted in Canada or Europe, the app may not be accessible for login yet.
No Admin Access: The app does not provide access to the Admin Portal or any administrative features.
