There may be occasions when you’d like to recognize a large group of people in a recognition program. If enabled in the recognition program settings by your Awardco admin, you can recognize groups by uploading a CSV file of user IDs or emails, or by using group metadata such as My Circle. This article will walk you through both scenarios.
Note: Screenshots in this article may display options not available to you, as each organization configures this ability differently.
File Upload
After logging in, click the "Recognize" link at the top of the screen.
On the next screen, under “Who do you want to recognize?”, select the “Recognize a Large Group” option beneath the search bar, then choose “Upload a CSV”.
You’ll now see an option to upload a CSV file. Ensure your file has a single column of user IDs or emails without headers. The maximum number of users allowed is 2000.
If the upload is successful, you’ll be taken to a screen displaying eligible programs. Follow the prompts to complete the recognition forms.
You can also paste a comma-separated list of emails or employee IDs directly into the search bar instead of uploading a CSV file.
Recognize By Groups
Depending on your organization’s configuration, you can recognize groups such as coworkers who share the same manager, department, job group, location, and more. If you have access to My Circle, you can automatically add everyone in your circle to the search bar.
If you are a manager, you might be able to recognize all your direct reports or all reports within your organization's hierarchy at once. Note that this option is not standard and may not be available to you.
You can add multiple groups to the recognition, rather than being limited to selecting just one. Ctrl + Z to undo any groups added.
After adding people to the recognition, you can add or remove individual users as needed before proceeding with the recognition process.
Note: A maximum of 2,000 people can be added to a recognition. If your selected group metadata includes more than 2,000 people, you will receive an error message.
