Sharing Recognitions and Redemptions with Share the Good

"Share the Good" is a feature that lets you easily share your achievements and redeemed rewards from your organization’s recognition platform. Now, showcasing your recognitions and favorite redemptions with your network is simple. Just use the "Share" button on recognitions and redemptions to generate a shareable link. Sharing a Recognition

  1. Log into your recognition platform.
  2. On the homepage, select “Recognition” then “Feed” from the left navigation menu.


     
  3. Locate the recognition you wish to share. Remember, only public recognitions can be shared.
  4. Click "Share"

 

 

Note: In addition to sharing individual recognitions, you can share MemoryBooks that you have received. 

 

  1. Check the “Sensitive Information Acknowledgement” checkbox that confirms the recognition contains no sensitive information.

    • If your admin has enabled AI review, Awardco Intelligence reviews the recognition text for potentially confidential information. If flagged, it makes subtle edits to the recognition text so that it can still be shared publicly.

  2. A unique link to your recognition will be generated. You will also see an option to "Copy Link." Click this to copy the link to your clipboard.

  3. Open your preferred social media platform, messaging app, or email.

  4. Paste the copied link into your post or message. The platform will automatically generate a preview with a thumbnail image of your recognition.

  5. Post or send!

 

 

Sharing a Redemption

  1. Log into your recognition platform.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top navigation menu, and then select “Orders.”

  3. Find the specific item you'd like to share. Please note that you can only share one item at a time from a single transaction and redemptions made via A-Pay cannot be shared.
  4. Similar to recognitions, you will find a "Share" button next to the eligible redemption. Click it.

  1. A unique link for your redeemed item will be created. Click "Copy Link" to save it to your clipboard.

  2. Open your desired social media platform, messaging app, or email.

  3. Paste the copied link. A preview with a thumbnail of your redeemed item will appear.

  4. Share it with your network!

 

FAQ

  • Who can see my shared recognitions and redemptions?

    • When you share a link, anyone who clicks on it will be able to see the landing page displaying your recognition or redemption. Be mindful of your privacy settings on the platform where you share the link.

  • Can I share recognitions I've given to others?

    • No, the "Share the Good" feature currently only allows you to share recognitions that you have received.

  • Can I share a recognition I marked as private?

    • No, only public recognitions are eligible for sharing.

  • Can I share directly to Facebook, X, LinkedIn etc. from Awardco?

    • Yes!

  • Will I be able to see a preview of how my shared link will look?

    • Users can paste the link into their own browser to see the page before posted to a social media. I'd prefer we suggest they do that since we will likely not be building any preview functionality in the future.

  • Can I share all the items I redeemed in one go?

    • No, you can only share one redeemed item at a time.

  • What about redemptions made with A-Pay? Can I share those?

    • Unfortunately, redemptions made using A-Pay are not eligible for sharing at this time.
