If your company uses the Point Auto Redemption feature, you may be eligible to receive the value of your remaining points balance when you leave the organization. This article outlines how this feature works and what you can expect.
Point Auto Redemption
The Point Auto Redemption feature allows companies to send employees the value of any remaining points in their Awardco accounts when they leave the organization. When an employee departs, a prepaid card containing the value of their remaining points is sent to them via email. For this to occur, the remaining points must be eligible for a prepaid card and fall within the prepaid card's minimum and maximum denomination requirements. Additionally, a personal email address must be associated with the account in the "Secondary Email" field of your "My Profile" section.
Collection of Personal Email Addresses
If your company uses this feature, your personal email address is necessary to facilitate sending you your prepaid card. There are two ways your personal email address may be listed in the "Secondary Email" field of your "My Profile" section:

Your organization may provide this secondary email address for you via a frequently sent user file. If so, you won't need to take any additional action to ensure your account has a personal secondary email. You can verify what email address is listed as your secondary email address by going to "My Profile."
- Upon your initial login to your Awardco account, you may see a secondary email collection page. The secondary email address you submit on this page is the email address to which your prepaid card will be sent if you leave the organization. It's crucial to provide a valid personal email address. Do not duplicate your work email address, as you may lose access to it when you leave the organization.
You can update your personal email address at any time by clicking on your name in the top-right corner of the platform and going to your account profile in the "My Profile" section. Ensure you add your personal email address in the "Secondary Email" field.
Receiving Your Prepaid Card
Organizations set the number of days after removal from the platform when your prepaid card is sent. The wait time varies, and you might get multiple cards if your points exceed the daily processing limit. Follow the email instructions to activate your card.
