Important Note for Awardco Engage Customers: Admins using only Awardco Engage will see all settings listed below. The settings marked with an asterisk (*) are the most applicable to your use case: Member Label, Plural Member Label, Translate, Marketing Opt Out, Terms, Privacy Policy, Admin Impersonate, Delegates, Bulk User File Uploads, Feature Highlights, Mobile App Access, and Mobile App Expiration
Navigate to Advanced Settings
To navigate to Navigate to Advanced Settings:
- On the homepage, select the “Admin” button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
- From the left navigation menu, click “Platform” and then "Advanced Settings."
Account Settings
| Setting | Description |
| MemoryBook | Toggle this setting On if you’d like to enable the MemoryBook feature. |
| Budgets | Toggle this setting On if you’d like to have the Budgets tab appear in the Admin portal. |
| Budget Balances | Toggle this setting On to allow users to see their budget balances if they have access to a budget. |
| Require Cost Center on Budgets | Toggle this setting On if you’d like Cost Centers to be required on budget settings. |
| Archived Manager Budgets Retain Funds | Toggle this setting On if you’d like archived Manager budgets to keep their remaining balance and appear on the Archived tab so Admins and Budget Owners can transfer points out. When Off (default), archiving a Manager budget returns any remaining points to the Company Account and hides the budget from the Budgets page. |
| Max Recognition Recipients | The value entered in this field will set the maximum number of people that can be recognized in one recognition. This setting only applies to Recognition Programs, and cannot be greater than 2,000. |
| Remove User Points After Archival |
When turned on, this setting removes points from archived users’ wallets after the set number of days, returning them to the Company Account. If enabled for the first time, it also retroactively removes points from any archived users who have already passed that day limit. The removal process runs automatically once per day at 00:00 UTC.

| Auto Redeem Gift Card After Archival | If an employee is archived, their remaining eligible points can be automatically redeemed for a virtual prepaid card and sent to the secondary email attached to their account. Determine the number of days after a user is archived to trigger the auto redemption of their points, and speak with your CSM to enable the feature. Note: Secondary emails must be provided on user data imports for this feature to be enabled. |
| Point Multiplier | A customizable conversion factor that determines the monetary value of each point earned by users on the platform, allowing for flexible point-to-dollar ratios. We recommend this value be set to 1 for simplicity’s sake. |
| Tax | Press Edit Tax to set your company’s tax buffer. We recommend speaking with your CSM before changing this setting. |
| Member Label* | Set the label for users of the system using the free form field. Default: Employee |
| Plural Member Label* | Set the label for plural users of the system using the free form field. Default: Employees |
| Translate* | Toggle this setting On if you’d like to enable Google Translate options. |
| Marketing Opt Out* | Toggle this setting On if you’d like to opt out all users in your organization for Awardco marketing materials. |
| Terms* | Toggling this setting On turns on the Terms step that must be accepted by new users to your platform. Select Edit to add the HTML of these Terms. |
| Privacy Policy* | Toggling this setting On turns on the Privacy Policy step that must be accepted by new users to your platform. Select Edit to add the HTML of the Privacy Policy. |
| Admin Impersonate* | Toggle this setting On if you’d like Super Admins of the platform to be able to impersonate other user accounts. |
| Delegates* | Toggle this setting On if you’d like users to be able to set delegates that can impersonate their account. |

When On, you're able to upload a user file on the Users tab. Also, the ability to restrict who can perform a bulk user file upload can be managed by role in the Roles and Permissions page. |
| Feature Highlights* | Toggle this option On to have helpful walkthrough guides appear the first time they use a core Awardco feature. |
| Mobile App Access* | Toggle this option On to give your users access to log into the Awardco Mobile app on their iOS and Android devices |
| Mobile Session Expiration Date* | Toggle this option On (recommended) to log users out of the Awardco Mobile App after a defined period of time. |
