This article details the process of redeeming eGift cards.
Locating and Redeeming eGift Card Options
Start by signing in to your organization's Awardco site to reach the homepage.
On the homepage, select "Marketplace" from the left navigation menu, then click "Spend Points."
You'll be brought to the Spend Points landing page showing all spending options available to you. If eGift cards are in your purchasing power, select eGift cards at the top of the screen.
Please note, the eGift Cards option might not be available for your organization. If you do not see eGift Cards listed, you will not be able to use points to redeem an eGift Card.
After selecting eGift Cards you will be brought to the eGift Cards landing page where you can select your desired gift card(s). The first section will display a balance of how many points in your wallet you're able to spend on eGift cards. Scrolling down will display all available cards. Narrow down your search by typing in keywords in the search bar to the left. Toggle the switch below to display items you can afford, and apply any filter category to find exactly what you're looking for.
Some of the eGift Card options listed in these sample images may not be available for redemption in your company. All gift cards are subject to availability and tax based on location.
Selecting the desired eGift Card will bring you into the card redemption screen. Here, you will input your desired eGift Card value. Some eGift Cards have preset limits, others have custom quantity fields. Once you have chosen a preset amount or entered the desired card value, the blue points indicator (shown just above the card value) will display the point amount required to redeem the eGift Card. Press “Add to Cart" once you are ready to continue.
Once you're ready click "Checkout" in the shopping cart view.
Review your contact info. Then, click "Review Order."
Look over the order summary then click "Submit Order."
You will get a message confirming your order and indicating that your gift cards are on their way to your email! Follow the instructions you receive in your email to enable and begin using your card. The claim code, activation link, pin etc. for your card can also be accessed in the "Orders" tab under your user profile in the platform. Select "Activation Link" to access any information you'll need to input when making a purchase.
Redeeming Local eGift Cards
The process of redeeming a local eGift card is very similar to the process above. Select the gift card you'd like to redeem and the amount, add to cart, fill out your address and phone number, and place the order. Depending on the vendor, you'll either receive an eGift card or physical gift card. The eGift card will be sent to your email on file typically within one business day; if you are receiving a physical gift card you will be notified via email. Both notifications will come from the email address: Vendors@awardco.com.
Redeeming Uber Credits
If Uber has a presence in your country, you'll be able to redeem points on Uber or Uber Eats. After placing your order, your voucher will be emailed to you from the email address: Vendors@awardco.com. Typically our order fulfillment team will have vouchers sent within a business day. These vouchers do not expire and a voucher can only be returned if it hasn't been used. No additional fees will be incurred for this redemption.
If you don’t see your eGift Card email, check your spam folder before submitting a support ticket. It may take a while to arrive.
