This article explains how to impersonate another Awardco platform user through the Delegates feature when you have been assigned as their delegate. This option is particularly useful for administrators who may need assistance with sending recognitions or approving nominations. By being assigned as a delegate, you are authorized to operate within another user's account profile.
- Log in to your account.
- Click on your profile picture and select “My Profile.”
- Click “Settings.”
- Scroll down to the Delegates section.
- Under “Who can I access…”, you will see a list of all users in your organization that you are permitted to impersonate.
- Click the “Impersonate” button to the right of the desired user's name to begin impersonating them.
You are now accessing the selected user's account. Any nominations or recognitions you submit will be from their account, not yours. A blue banner at the top saying "IMPERSONATING [USER FIRST NAME AND LAST NAME]" will remind you of this.
When you have finished acting as the delegate for a user, click “Return to My Account” in the blue reminder bar.
