How Awardco Giving Works
When you choose to donate your points, Awardco converts them to a monetary value that goes directly to your selected charity. All donations are processed in USD, even for international charities, ensuring a streamlined experience regardless of the charity's location.
Making a Donation
Follow these simple steps to donate your points to a charity:
Log in to your Awardco account
On the homepage, select Marketplace from the left navigation menu, then click Spend Points.
Select "Awardco Giving" from the available categories
Browse or search for charities by name, category, or cause
Select a charity and click on it to view details
Enter the amount you wish to donate (in points)
Once you're ready click "Checkout" in the shopping cart view.
Review your contact info. Then, click "Review Order."

Review the donation summary, which shows:
Points being donated
Monetary equivalent in USD

Admin fee (a 6% fee is taken from the donation total)
Note: The 6% Admin Fee is taken out by The Givinga Foundation before the donation is sent to the charity. The final net amount that reaches the charity is reflected on your Donation Receipt.
Click "Submit Order."

Admin Fees: All donations are subject to a 6% Admin Fee that is taken from the donation total by The Givinga Foundation to cover operational costs and secure distribution. This fee is reflected on your donation receipt.
Currency: All donations are processed in USD, even when donating to international charities. The charity will receive the funds in USD or converted to their local currency according to their preference.
Donation Receipts
After completing your donation, if allowed, you'll receive a donation receipt via email that includes:
Charity name and EIN (Employer Identification Number)
Donation amount (in USD)
Date of donation
Confirmation number
Tax deduction information (where applicable)
