Awardco allows you to receive SMS (text message) notifications when you are recognized. This guide will walk you through the process of adding your phone number to your account and enabling SMS notifications.
Step 1: Add Your Phone Number
To receive SMS notifications, you must first add a phone number to your Awardco account. Follow these steps:
- Log in to your Awardco account.
- Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the page.
- Select My Account from the dropdown menu.
- Navigate to the Notifications tab.
- Scroll down to the SMS section.
- If you do not have a phone number on file, you will be prompted to add one.
- Enter your phone number and save the changes.
Step 2: Enable SMS Notifications
Once your phone number is added, you can enable SMS notifications:
- Go to My Account → Notifications.
- Locate the SMS Notifications toggle.
- Switch the toggle to ON.
- You will receive a confirmation text message from Awardco notifying you that you have opted in.
Step 3: Managing Your SMS Preferences

Opting Out: If you no longer wish to receive SMS notifications, you can disable them by:
- Returning to My Account → Notifications and switching the SMS Notifications toggle to OFF.
- Replying "STOP" to any Awardco text message.

Re-enabling SMS Notifications: If you have previously opted out and want to start receiving texts again:
- Follow the same steps to toggle SMS Notifications back ON.
- If you opted out via text, reply "START" to an Awardco message to resume notifications.
