Flagging Content on the Social Feed

The ability to flag content on the Awardco Social Feed helps maintain a positive and respectful environment for all users. If you see inappropriate recognition or comments—such as offensive language or content that goes against company guidelines—on the social feed, follow the steps below to report it.

How to Flag Content for Review

  1. Access the Feed: On the homepage, select “Recognition,” then “Feed” from the left navigation menu.



     

  2. Locate the Content: On the Social Feed, find the content you wish to flag (recognition text, comment text, image, GIF, etc.).

  3. Click the "Flag for Review" Option: Click on the three-dot menu (ellipsis) associated with the content. Select “Flag for Review.”

  4. Complete the 'Flag Content for Review' Form: A form will appear prompting you to provide the required information. Fill out the form, providing relevant details and clearly explaining why you are flagging the content.

  5. Submit Your Flag: Click “Submit for Review.”

What Happens After Flagging Social Feed Content?

After you submit the form, an Awardco admin at your organization or a designated reviewer will be notified. The flagged content will remain visible on the feed until it is reviewed. The reviewer can assess the content and decide whether to take action (edit or delete the content) based on established company policies and guidelines.

  • Q: What kind of content should I flag? 
    • A: You should flag content that violates your company's guidelines, includes offensive or harmful language, or otherwise creates a negative or inappropriate environment.

  • Q: Can I flag private content? 

    • A: Yes, content from both public and private recognitions can be flagged.

  • Q: Will my flagging be anonymous? 

    • A: Your identity will be visible to the reviewer of the flagged content so that they can follow up if additional information is needed. However, the original content creator will not be notified of the flagging action or who reported the content.

  • Q: Who reviews flagged content? 

    • A: Only Awardco administrators and users with specific permissions to review flagged content will assess it.

  • Q: How will I know if action was taken? 

    • A: Currently, there is no notification system for the person who flags the content. Rest assured that all flagged content is reviewed by the appropriate admin or reviewer.
