To ensure your Awardco platform runs smoothly, you must load enough points for employee recognition. Your Implementation Consultant will initially add points, after which your admin team will manage point additions. This guide explains your invoicing and how to load points.
Note: This applies only to clients billed by "Points Awarded." If you use "Customer Managed" billing, see the Billing Page article for funding and point allocation instructions.
Adding Points to Your Platform
Adding points is easy once you know how billing works. Follow these steps:
- Log into your Awardco account.
- On the homepage, select the Admin button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
- Select "Finance" from the left navigation menu.
- Click "Budgets."

Click "Add Points" within the Points Summary section.

Enter Point or Fund Value:
- Enter the desired number of points or the corresponding monetary value. The system will automatically calculate and populate the equivalent value in the other field.
- The platform's point-to-currency ratio is displayed for your reference below the input fields.

Add Deposit Note:
- Attach a detailed note to the deposit. This is highly recommended for future reference, as the "Past Deposits" table on the Point Management page will accumulate entries over time. Clear and specific notes will aid in resolving any deposit-related inquiries.
- Confirm Deposit: After completing the form, click "Add Points" and confirm the deposit.

Verify and Distribute:
- The newly deposited points will appear in the "Company Account" line under the Points Summary in the sidebar.
- Navigate to the "Budgets" tab to allocate these points.

Note: When users buy points for redemption, each purchase appears on the Point Management page with an empty note field.
