This article will walk you through the basic steps of how to build a non-monetary recognition peer to peer program. The structure of this program will allow all users in your organization to recognize the good in each other with no points attached. While the Recognition Program builder has many configurations, this article will cover the basic settings needed to set up a peer to peer program. Reference the links in each step for more in-depth information about each referenced setting or feature. The video below will also walk you through the process step-by-step.

Navigate to Recognition Program Settings
Start by navigation to the Admin portal by selecting the Admin button at the top right section of the homepage. Clicking on the Settings tab will bring you directly to Recognition Program Settings. Select Add Program at the top right of the screen.
General Settings
Enter the Program Name, select a start date and an end date, if applicable. Click Create Program. Select an image that will display when a user is brought to the program selection page. Add a short description that communicates to users the program’s purpose. Click Next.
Rules
Because the rules of this non-monetary program are simple, no changes are needed in this tab. Leave the Nominator and Recipient Eligibility options toggled to All Users. Click Next.
Display
Toggle the Post to Social Feed to ON, in order to give the submitter the option to have their recognition be public or private on the feed. If you’d like a banner image to appear on each recognition in the social feed, toggle the Banner Image option to ON, and click Upload Custom Image. For best results, use images 1200x300px without text.
To make company values available for selection when users access the program, click Optional under the Tags section, and select all applicable tags. This article details how to create core value hashtags if none have been set up. Click Next.
Questions
The default question is a free form field allowing the user to enter custom text. Click the to the right of the question to alter the question text. Enter the question text in the Question field, save your changes, and click Next.
Notifications
Attach email templates to the Recognition notification using the drop-down menu. View current templates uploaded to your platform using the View Templates button. Select Finish.
Front-End View
Test the front-end view of your recognition program by selecting Return at the top right of the screen. Click on the Recognize tab at the top of the homepage, and enter the name(s) of who you’d like to recognize. Select your newly created program.
Enter a test recognition, and click Recognize.
View the recognition on the public social feed.
