The world of Role-Based Dashboards is where customization meets functionality. Designed with you in mind, this feature empowers you, as an admin, to tailor a user’s dashboard experience according to their specific roles. Whether you're a manager tracking recognition and login data or focused on redemption account info, Role-Based Dashboards has you covered.
Purpose and Value
Role-Based Dashboards were created to address the diverse needs of all role types. We understand that different roles within your organization require distinct sets of metrics to effectively carry out their responsibilities. This feature allows you to customize the dashboard options, providing a personalized view for each role. Different roles can now access information relevant to their duties, enhancing their ability to make impactful decisions. Whether you're a team manager, finance admin, or hold another role within the platform, this feature ensures that your dashboard is optimized for your requirements.
As the current version of Role-Based Dashboards stands, editable widgets or templates are not supported. What the role or manager sees is only what is available to them.
Viewing Dashboards
Roles eligible for a dashboard view can simply click on the Admin portal button on the homepage to get started. As an admin, you’ll first view the admin dashboard that shows metrics for the entire organization. Access dashboards accessible to you through the Super Admin role by clicking My Dashboards; roles assigned a dashboard will only be able to view dashboards specific to them. Select the star icon next to any dashboard to make it the default dashboard that displays when viewing the Dashboard tab.
Dashboard Settings
View and edit Dashboard Settings through the following path:
- Click Admin on the homepage
- Select the Settings tab next to "Dashboards"
This view shows all dashboards across your organization. Click either "Admin Dashboards" or "Manager Dashboards" to view all active dashboards in that category and all roles eligible to view them.
Admin Dashboards
This view gives "Super Admin", and any other role with granted access, into recognition metrics for the entire organization. Currently, the 'Admin' dashboard name and default time frame cannot be edited. To manage access, click the three-dot menu next to the 'Admin' dashboard in the Admin Dashboards tab.
Important: Use caution when adding roles other than super admins. All admins with access to the Admin dashboard will be able to view recognition data across the entire organization.
