Keeping track of employee data is a key responsibility of an Awardco Admin. The new and improved Users report gives at-a-glance views into employees that have upcoming birthdays or where most of the workforce is located. This article will explain filters you can apply to narrow down specific data points, and how to interpret the data visualizations provided.

Once you’ve selected your preferred filters, select “Run the Report” to display the data. If you’d like to export the data in a .csv format, select “Export”. If you’d like to save these search parameters, select “Save View” and enter a name for your saved view. The next time you access the Users report you can access this saved view in the drop-down menu at the top right. If you “star” or favorite a saved view, it will be the default report that loads first and runs automatically. If you'd like a saved view to be sent to your email on a regular cadence, please visit our Sending Scheduled Reports article to find out more on how to configure this option.
Now that you’ve run the report, you’ll see below several data visualizations and graphs. The following sections will explain each graph and help you see employee data at-a-glance.
Key Data Metrics
Right below the data filters you’ll see 3 tiles with the data metrics: Active People, Birthdays This Month, and Anniversaries This Month. The number of archived users will show below the number of active people, and the number of upcoming birthdays and anniversaries will show below the number of birthdays and anniversaries that month.
Users by Role
The bar graph below shows the distribution of users by role. The x-axis displays the name of each role and the y-axis shows the number of users. Use the check boxes to view data for only certain roles.
Users Summarized By
This section shows a pie chart that summarizes approval data from different filter categories presented in the drop-down menu to the right of the graph title. The initial filter applied here is Country. Note: Data for Active users will only be shown in all contexts in this summary. Archived Users are not counted for.
Exporting Charts and Graphs
If you'd like to export any chart, graph, or data visualization as a single PNG image, click on the circular icon at the top right of any graph.
Source Data
At the bottom of the page you’ll find the raw data that the data visualizations draw from above. If you were to export the report to a .csv/JSON file, this is the same format you would find. Use the search bar to search for keywords such as employee names, languages, and roles.
