Reporting offers valuable insights into organization-wide recognition engagement. If you regularly export the same report, you can now automate this process by scheduling the report to be sent to you at a determined frequency. This article explains how to configure the scheduled reports feature. Please note that this feature is not available for legacy reports.
Steps to Configure Scheduled Reports
- Log In to your account.
- Select the “Admin” button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
- Select “Insights”, “Reports”, and then choose the desired report from the left navigation menu.
- Create a Saved View: Before setting up a scheduled report, you must first create a Saved View. Configure your desired filters, then click “Save View” and “Save As."

Name the saved view and click “Done.”
- In the top right corner, click on “Schedules.” This will display any existing schedules for viewing or editing and provide the option to create a new schedule.

Click “Add Schedule.”
- Complete the Detail, Frequency, Shared With, and Summary sections.
- In the Detail section, select the report type and the name of your saved view from the drop-down menus. Then, name your scheduled report.
- Next, establish the Frequency as weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. You can also specify a recurring cadence (e.g., every two weeks) and the specific day for report delivery (e.g., every Friday).

Note: If a Saved View is selected in the Detail section, the date filters applied within that saved view will be overridden by the frequency settings you establish here.

- In the Shared With section, enter the names of any additional individuals who should receive the report via email. Only users with permission to view the report will appear in the search results. The creator of the schedule is automatically designated as the owner. To change the owner, you must first add the new owner to the schedule and save the settings. Then, edit the schedule again to assign the new owner. A confirmation message will appear if you change ownership, asking you to confirm the change. You can also choose whether you want to continue receiving emails for this report.
- In the Summary section, select your First Run Date. This is the date the first report will be generated and sent. The summary also indicates the report's running frequency and the date range it will cover.
- Once you have reviewed all the settings, click “Save.”
Managing Scheduled Reports
On the Reports page, click the “Scheduled” tab to view reports you have scheduled and reports that have been shared with you. You can quickly see who each report is shared with and its owner.
- On this page, you can search and filter the created and shared scheduled reports. You also have the option to create new scheduled reports from here.
- Clicking the caret (^) next to a scheduled report's name will display its schedule details and a list of previously generated reports available for download. Please note that reports are only available for download for two weeks.
Clicking “Run Now” will immediately generate the report, which will then be available for download.
Report Delivery
When a new report is generated, an email notification with a direct download link will be sent to the schedule creator and all individuals the report is shared with. For security purposes, only users whose email address is registered within the Awardco platform will be able to download the report from the email link.
