Important: If you already have employee data in your Awardco platform, it's crucial to ensure the Employee IDs in your new Deel data feed precisely match your current user data. Inconsistent IDs can lead to user duplication, recognition errors, and compromised data integrity. Please verify this consistency before proceeding.
Steps to Integrate with Deel
- On the Awardco homepage, select the “Admin” button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
- From the left navigation menu, select “Platform”, “Integrations”, then click “Integrations Library.”
- Click “Deel.”
- Click “Begin Setup.”
- The setup wizard will appear. First, enter your Deel Organization Token and click “Connect.”
- Once connected, you'll need to decide whether to Archive employees in Awardco when they are marked as inactive in Deel. We recommend setting this to "Archive."
- Next, determine if Deel employee email addresses should override any email addresses employees enter in Awardco. If you allow employees to update their email addresses in Awardco, we recommend turning the override off.
- Then, specify your preferred frequency for importing employee information. We recommend choosing a frequency that aligns with your data update needs.
- Finally, you can choose to run a manual import immediately or wait. We recommend running an initial import to populate your user data and confirm the integration is functioning correctly.
- If the import is successful and you're ready for automatic synchronization, click “Start Automatic Imports.” Otherwise, you can click “Pause Automatic Imports” for now.
You are now ready to utilize the Deel integration. You can adjust your settings at any time via the Connection Settings tab on the Deel integration page within Awardco.
