Your recognition process may vary depending on your system, but the core steps are the same. Admins also have access to Bulk Recognition, detailed in the Admin Queues and Bulk Recognition article.
Submitting a Recognition
- Begin by logging into your Awardco account.
- From the homepage, start a recognition from one of the following locations:
- The “Recognize” button in the top right corner.
- The “Recognize” link in the left navigation menu under “Recognition”.
- The “Who do you want to recognize?” widget.
- Enter the name(s) of the person(s) you want to recognize and click "Next."
- The recognition options available to you will depend on your platform's specific configuration.
Recognition via Multiple Programs
The recognition programs feature enables your organization to operate multiple recognition programs on a single platform. The settings for these different programs, including eligibility criteria, were established during implementation or in collaboration with your Client Success Manager. For any questions regarding this program type, please reach out to your current Awardco point of contact.
To begin, search for the employee you wish to award. You can select multiple individuals on this page. However, keep in mind that when you select more than one person, only recognition programs for which all selected users are eligible will be displayed. If multiple users are selected, the same recognition message and award will be sent to each individual. If you need to send personalized messages or different point amounts, please process the recognitions one at a time.
As part of the multiple recognition programs feature, if both you (the submitter) and the recipient(s) are eligible for multiple programs, you will be prompted to select the specific program under which the award will be processed. In the example below, Dan needs to choose between the non-monetary "High Five" program and the monetary "Sales Incentive Program." Utilize the program descriptions and the in-platform program FAQ features to ensure employees understand the purpose of each program type.
Please note that if you are not directed to a program selection page after choosing the recipient(s) and proceed directly to the recognition form, it means that either the submitter, the recipient(s), or both parties are eligible for only a single recognition program.
After selecting the program, complete the recognition form. This form is highly customizable and may include multiple-choice questions, accompanying images, short answer text boxes, platform tags, monetary amounts, and more. In the example below, Dan will provide a reason for the recognition, attach a value tag, select an award amount, specify whether the recognition will be visible to everyone or only the recipient, and then click "Recognize." Once you submit the recognition, it will either be processed immediately or routed to an approval queue, depending on your platform's configuration.
