In today's globalized workplace, ensuring effective communication with a diverse workforce is crucial. Awardco's multi-language transactional capabilities allow you to automatically send critical notifications—birthdays, anniversaries, program updates, and more—in each employee's preferred language. This article outlines the various methods for setting and managing these language preferences, ensuring everyone feels included and informed.
Initial Import
When initially importing users via a CSV file, there is now a column for "Language" where you can specify which language the user prefers. This will be added to their profile when the file is uploaded. When importing users and assigning preferred languages using this method, please note that you must import the language using the ISO 639-1 code. For example, English must be written "en". The full list of available languages with their accepted format is listed below. (Please note these ISO codes are not case sensitive)

Email Template Customization
The platform’s Email Template Easy Editor allows you to customize transactional emails sent for various programs (anniversaries, birthdays, recognition, etc.) using the Email Template Easy Editor. This editor enables you to create and manage email templates, including variations for different languages.
When configuring email templates, you can create language-specific versions to ensure recipients receive emails in their preferred language. The system will automatically select the appropriate language variant based on the user's profile settings.
