MemoryBooks: Manager Queues

This article explains how to use the "Queues" Tab to view upcoming MemoryBooks for your direct reports.

Note: MemoryBooks require service award automation to be enabled on your platform. Due to the extensive custom configuration needed, only Awardco Client Success Managers can enable this feature. Please contact your Client Success Manager to set up MemoryBooks for your organization.

Accessing the MemoryBooks Queue

To view the MemoryBooks queue: 

1. Select the Admin button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
2. Click ‘Queues’ from the left navigation menu.
3. Select “MemoryBooks Queue” at the top of the screen.

Managing Pending MemoryBooks 

In the pending view, managers can see upcoming anniversary awards for their direct reports, including:

• The number of people invited to submit a comment.
• The number of people who have submitted a comment.
• When expanded, the content of teammate comments.

From the expanded view of an individual anniversary award, managers can resend email invitations if a user has lost or deleted the original.

To encourage full participation in the MemoryBook process, we recommend that managers regularly review the queue and remind participants to contribute comments. This ensures a positive MemoryBook experience and supports your organization's employee recognition goals.

Creating One-Off MemoryBooks

If you have permission to create one-off MemoryBooks, you can do so directly from the MemoryBook queue page:

1. Look for the "Create One-Off MemoryBook" button located on the MemoryBook queue page
2. Select the recipient of the MemoryBook
3. Choose the template to use
4. Specify when the book should be given to the recipient

5. Set the visibility options

    

   

    

6. Click "Next" to review a summary of the MemoryBook details. Click "Create Event." 

    

   

    

7. Once created, you can copy and share the link to comment or add your own comment
    

Note: If MemoryBook notifications are disabled, one-off MemoryBooks will not automatically invite team members to comment. Contact your administrator to enable automatic teammate invitations.

One-off MemoryBooks will appear in your queues and in the Upcoming Milestones widget, just like regular MemoryBooks.
