Setting a session timeout is a crucial security measure for your platform. Without it, shared workstations can lead to users accidentally accessing another user's profile, resulting in confusion and potential misuse of points. This article explains how to adjust your platform's session timeout settings.
- Log in
- On the homepage, select the Admin button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
- From the left navigation menu, click “Platform”, “Security”, and then "Password."
- Change your session timeout parameters in the field under “Session Timeout”
- Click “Save Changes”
Important Notes:
- Awardco recommends a minimum session timeout of 60 minutes for optimal security.
- Upon automatic logout due to inactivity, users will be redirected to the login page.
- Any unsaved data, such as search parameters or shipping information, will be lost if a user is logged out due to inactivity.
