If you are an Awardco admin and your organization uses the Bot Microsoft Teams Integration, follow these steps to have recognition posts automatically appear in a designated public channel within Teams.
Note: For a richer, more integrated experience, we recommend considering the Microsoft Bundle Integration. Unlike the bot-based integration described in this article, the bundle integration provides full access to the Awardco platform directly within Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft 365. While the bundle offers integration across all three applications, you have the flexibility to implement Awardco solely within Teams.
- Select the “Admin” button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
- From the left navigation menu, click “Platform” and then “Integrations.”
- Select “Integrations Library”, then Click on “Microsoft Teams.”
- Click “Begin Setup” to establish the integration. You will then be prompted to select the specific Team and Channel where recognitions should be posted.
- Troubleshooting: If you are already connected but the desired Team or Channel is not appearing in the selection options, disconnect the integration and then reconnect it.

- Once the integration is complete, the selected channel in Microsoft Teams will receive a notification confirming the connection.
- After successful configuration, any recognitions awarded through the Teams app or directly on the Awardco platform will automatically be posted in this designated channel.
