This article explains Bulk Recognition and guides you through the process of uploading a Bulk Recognition file using a CSV within the admin portal. Here you'll find a sample bulk recognition file. Navigation
- Log in to your Awardco Account.
- Select the “Admin” button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
- From the left navigation menu, select “Recognition” then "Queues.”
Schedule New Recognitions Through Bulk Recognition
Important: Before uploading a bulk recognition file, please collaborate with your Client Success Manager to ensure all fields are completed correctly. Once recognitions are sent, emails cannot be unsent, and points are difficult to retract.
- Click the "Bulk Recognition Builder" button in the top right corner of the screen.
- Under the "Start from scratch and upload a custom CSV" option, click “Download Template.”
- Fill out the template in Excel. Each row represents a single recognition. If this is your first time creating a bulk recognition file, please review this article and consult with your Client Success Manager to verify the accuracy of your file before uploading. Correcting errors and retracting points after an award is sent can be challenging, especially if points have been spent. Reviewing the document with your Awardco point of contact helps prevent these issues.
- Save the completed template as a .csv file.
- Under the "Start from scratch and upload a custom CSV" option on the Bulk Recognition Builder page, click “Upload CSV.”
- In the pop-up window, select the .csv file you wish to upload.
- Select “Upload.”
- Upon successful file upload, a dialogue window will appear stating, "The import completed successfully."
- If there are errors in the file, it will not load. The specific errors will be listed below the "Save" button. Address these errors and re-upload the file. For assistance troubleshooting errors, please contact your Awardco point of contact
Important Notes:
- Any recognition dates set in the past will be sent at the top of the next hour. This applies to the scheduled recognitions, their corresponding emails, and any designated manager notifications.
Any bulk recognition file with a total value exceeding $5,000 requires the involvement of your Awardco point of contact.
