Your employees lead busy lives and are hard at work furthering the aims of your organization. For those who may not have the Awardco platform integrated into their daily workflow, it can be easy to forget to make recognition a part of daily life. The recognition reminder email is a great way to remind your employees how much you value recognition—and how important it is for them to recognize everyone they work with.
Who Receives these Emails?
Anyone who has access to recognize another person within a recognition program will receive these reminder emails at the set frequency. For example, if you are running a Peer-to-Peer (PTP) recognition program, all employees in the organization will receive this email, regardless of their previous activity on the platform during that time period.
Feature Configuration
To set up the recognition reminder email:
- Log into your Awardco account.
- On the homepage, select the Admin button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
- In the left navigation menu, click “Platform,” "Notifications," then "Reminders."
Configure the following settings under the “Recognition Reminder” section:
- Frequency - Select the frequency with which you would like these emails to be sent to your users. The available time periods are:
- Monthly - the 15th of the month
- Quarterly - January 15th, April 15th, July 15th, and October 15th
- Semi-Annually - January 15th & July 15th
- Annually - January 15th
- Please note that if the calculated day falls on a weekend or holiday, the email will be delayed and sent on the next non-holiday weekday.
- Template - Choose the email template you created and uploaded under the "Email Templates" sub-tab. The template must be set as "Recognition Reminder" type, selected when using the Email Template Easy Editor.
