This article explains how to send a bulk recognition file using SFTP. This method is particularly helpful for automating recognitions based on criteria tracked in systems outside of Awardco. Here you'll find a sample bulk recognition file.
Note: Please also consider sending a bulk recognition via Bulk Recognition Builder before pursuing this option.
File Upload via SFTP
To upload your file:
- Use the provided credentials file and an SFTP client, an SFTP-compatible HRIS, or the command line to log in to ftp.awardco.com.
- Transfer your bulk recommendations file to the /BulkRecs directory.
These steps can often be automated within an HRIS to generate and transfer the file on a recurring schedule.
Confirmation
Your Awardco point of contact will be notified of any upload failures. To confirm that the recognitions in your file have been added to the processing queue:
- Log in to Awardco.
- On the homepage, select the “Admin” button at the bottom of the left navigation menu.
- From the left navigation menu, click “Recognition” and then "Queues."
Your newly uploaded recognitions should appear in the Pending tab. Recognitions will be processed according to the time and other parameters specified in the file.
