Awardco Giving is a flexible, secure solution that makes it easy for employees to donate to causes they care about directly from your organization's rewards platform. By integrating charitable giving into your company's reward system, you can promote social responsibility and create a workplace culture that supports employee values and goodwill. How To Enable Awardco Giving
To enable Awardco Giving for your organization, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your organization’s Awardco portal.
- Navigate to the Admin section by clicking the button in the top-right corner of the homepage.
- Click Settings and select Award Networks.
- Go to the Award Options tab and locate Awardco Giving.
- Toggle the switch to enable Awardco Giving.
- Determine which charities will be visible for donations (refer to the "Managing Enabled Charities" section).
- Return to the Award Networks main page and select the specific Award Network where you want Awardco Giving to be available.
- Scroll down to Awardco Giving and toggle it on.
- Select the countries where this option will be available for redemption.
- Click “Save.”
- Confirm that the option is visible to employees by checking the Spend Points section and verifying that Awardco Giving is listed as a category.
Awardco Giving Settings
To manage the Awardco Giving settings:
- Sign in to your Awardco portal and click the Admin button in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings and select Award Networks.
- In the Award Options tab, search for and select Awardco Giving.
From here, you can customize various settings related to charitable donations.
Adding Charities
You can choose which charities employees can view and donate to:
- Navigate to the Manage Charities section under Awardco Giving settings.
- Toggle All Charities to enable the full list.
- Use the search bar to filter by charity name, category, or cause. Click the charity name to find out more information about that option.
- Click Add next to the charity you’d like to make available on the platform.
Managing Enabled Charities
Once charities have been added, you can further manage them:
- Toggle the Enabled Charities switch in the Manage Charities tab.
- To remove a charity, click the Remove link.
- For more advanced options, click the three dots next to the charity’s name. Select Donation Routing Instructions to set up specific directions for how donations are routed within the selected charity.
Use Case Example: Some organizations may use a larger foundation as their charity provider, but they have specific funds within that foundation. For instance, if your company partners with Emergency Assistance Foundation (EAF), you may need to direct donations to a specific fund within it, like "The Together Fund" or "Colleague Disaster Relief Fund." In this case, you can enter routing instructions like “Please route all donations to the Together Fund,” ensuring donations are directed correctly.
- Enter the donation instructions, which will be included on the receipt employees receive when donating to that charity.
- To automatically send donation receipts to employees via email after they make a donation, toggle the Donation Receipts option on. Note that disabling this setting will treat all donations as non-tax deductible and users that donate will not receive receipts.
Country Availability
If you have a global workforce, check the Country Availability tab to see where Awardco Giving is available. Awardco is continuously expanding its country coverage, so check back regularly if a desired country isn’t yet supported.
Option Settings
In the Option Settings tab, you can configure the following:
- Display Name: The name that will appear on the Spend Points landing page.
- Description: A brief message that users will see when selecting the Awardco Giving option.
- Specific Keyword Exclusions: Add words to filter certain items from search results. Both partial and exact matches are supported (use double quotes for exact matches).
- Catalog Banner Image: Upload a custom image (1055x480 px) or choose a provided banner to display in the charity redemption area.
Click Save Changes when you're finished updating the settings.

Can companies customize the list of charities?
Yes, admins can select specific charities that align with company values, as well as manage donation routing instructions for those charities.
Is Awardco Giving available globally?
Availability depends on the country, but Awardco is actively expanding its global reach. Check the Country Availability tab for up-to-date information.
Can companies match employee donations?
While not available in the current version, this feature is under development.
