This article is designed to help you understand how to give permission to a user who can impersonate your account. They will have access to recognize, approve, redeem, and anything else in your account as if they were you. This option is especially useful for Admins who would need to give recognitions or approve nominations due to a busy schedule, vacation, or a variety of other reasons. Please be careful with whom you give delegate power.
Before You Begin
The Delegates feature must be enabled at the platform level before delegates can be assigned. If you do not see the Delegates option in your account settings, ask your platform administrator to enable it:
- Navigate to Admin → Settings → Advanced Settings.
- In the Account Settings section, locate the Delegates toggle.
- Toggle Delegates to On and click Save.

- Log in to your account
- Click on drop down arrow next to your name
- Click "My Account"
- Type in a name under "Assign Delegates"

First Things First: Log In to Your Account.
In the top-right of the page, click the arrow next to your name, then click My Account.
In the My Account area to the left, click on Delegates.
You can add and adjust users in your Assign Delegates workspace.
Type in the name of the person(s) you want to give permission to in order to access your account. The system will automatically start searching based on what you type in.
Clicking the user's name will give them access to your account and their name will be displayed in the Assign Delegates field.
Remove a User as a Delegate for your account at any time by clicking on the X next to their name.
