Your employees lead busy lives and are hard at work furthering the aims of your organization. For those who may not have the Awardco platform integrated into their daily workflow, it can be easy to forget about the points they've received. Through the point balance reminder email, you have the ability to combat that forgetfulness in driving your organization to the next level of software adoption and platform utilization.
Feature Configuration
To begin configuration, log into your account and navigate to the configuration page by clicking the "Admin" > "Settings" > "Reminders".
- Frequency - Select the frequency with which you would like these emails to be sent to your users. The available time periods are monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. The reminder email will be sent as close to the same day of the selected period as possible through a balanced algorithm. For example, if a user receives the email on the 1st one month, the system will send it as close to the 1st as it can the following month. Please note that if the calculated day falls on a weekend or holiday, the email will be delayed and sent on the next non-holiday weekday.

Template - Select the email template you have designed and loaded into the platform on the "Email Templates" sub-tab page. The template selected here must be created with the type set to "Point Balance." The template type is selected when creating an email template using the Email Template Easy Editor.
- Select 'Test' to receive a sample email of the selected point balance reminder template. The test email will be sent to the currently logged-in user, providing information on their point balance.
- Point Balance Threshold - Enter the point threshold at which the reminder email will be activated. For example, assuming the points to dollars ratio is 1:1, entering 30 points means only users who have 30 or more points in their account balance will receive the reminder email.
Please note that the timing of the reminder emails is balanced through an algorithm to distribute them across the month, minimizing platform utilization spikes. While the emails will not be sent on the exact same day each period, they will be as close as possible to the previous send date while avoiding weekends and holidays. This ensures a consistent and effective reminder for your users without inconveniences.
