Awardco has partnered with Zendesk to offer a program integration that passes points earned in Zendesk to Awardco for redemption and use.
The Zendesk integration takes advantage of the Earn program functionality in Awardco to automate recognition and rewards based on Zendesk performance metrics. Clients can set standards that trigger rewards when Zendesk tickets are marked solved and based on Additional tags, Fields, or Satisfaction Rating.
Point awards work on a "ticks" progress system that translates into points on Awardco when a threshold is met. Ticks can have custom allocations that depend on multiple factors. For instance, any solved ticket can award you 1 tick, while solving an escalated ticket, or solving a particular category of ticket can award 2 ticks, and solving a 5-star ticket rewards 4 ticks.
Ticks break down the point awards so that fractions of points can be awarded. The point threshold can be configured at any tick rate desired. We can configure 10 ticks to result in a point or we could configure 100 ticks as a point, it all depends on the client's goals for their program. Points are only awarded in the platform as whole numbers and only when the tick-to-point threshold is reached.
Points are awarded through the platform so PPP and point multipliers are in effect, so if 10 points = $1 on their platform, then 10 points through Zendesk will be $1 as well.
The basic configuration can be done through the Admin Console under Integrations. We suggest involving your Awardco point-of-contact if you'd like to finalize this connection.
