Keeping track of where money deposited into your platform is allocated can seem like a daunting task. With the help of the Redemption Account report, you’re able to see all money deposits, orders, and returns to and from the Redemption Account. This report is commonly used to see money in and out of the Redemption Account at a high level. Below, you will find an explanation on the filters you can apply to narrow down specific data points in the Redemption Account report. Additionally, you’ll find guidance on how to interpret the data visualization provided.
Note: this report only shows Redemption Account transactions and does not include credit card transactions.
Data Filters
To access this report:
- Access “Admin Settings”
- Click on the “Reports” tab at the top of the screen.
- Find the “Redemption Account” report on the “Featured” tab
- Click “Open”
Before running the report, we’ll need to select data filters. Select as many as you’d like to narrow down exactly what you need. These are optional; for any filter that is not selected the report will assume a “Select All” option. The following filters are available:
- Time Frame: Select the time frame from which you’d like the report to pull data. Select an option from the list of default periods or specify a custom date range. Use the drop-down menu to the right to pull the report in your preferred time zone. UTC is recommended for reconciliation with Awardco reports.
- Type: Deposit, Reversal or Order. Deposits reflect the quantity of money placed in the Redemption Account, Reversals reflect money refunded from the Redemption Account back to your organization, Orders reflect the value of orders placed by employees; this amount is subtracted from the Redemption Account balance.
If you plan on exporting the Redemption Account report, use the drop-down menu on the right to select columns that will appear on your exported .csv file. The column options are as follows:

If you’d like to save these search parameters, select “Save View” and enter a name for your saved view. The next time you access the Redemption Account report you can access this saved view in the drop-down menu at the top right. Redemption Account Overview
This section of the report will summarize three data points: Net Change, Money Deposited, and Money Spent. Redemption Account data will be displayed in these three tiles above for money deposited, and orders completed in the filtered time period. The Net Change figure reflects the difference between Money Deposited and Money Spent.
Select the arrow icon at the top right of the Money Deposited tile to be directed to the Money Deposited report. The same icon at the top right of the Money Spent icon can be selected to access the Money Spent report.
Source Data
In this section, you’ll find the raw data that the data visualization draws from above. If you were to export the report to a .csv/JSON file, this is the same format you would find. Use the search bar to search for keywords such as employee names and invoice numbers. Note: negative values in the amount column represent an item return. Funds in the Redemption Account that were spent on an item will return to the Redemption Account balance.
