My Circle helps individuals to keep up-to-date with their peers, direct reports, and others throughout the company and encourages a culture of recognition. My Circle suggests people to recognize and highlights when someone hasn't been recognized in a while. Setup is quick and easy, you'll be able to launch the feature in a matter of minutes. Reference the article below to get started.
Finding My Circle Settings
To find the My Circle Settings:
- Click the Admin button on the homepage
- Select the Settings tab at the top of the page
- Find and click on My Circle on the left side of the page
Launching My Circle
Click on the Configure My Circle button to start the launch process. From this screen, you can launch My Circle immediately with the Launch Now button, or you can schedule a launch with the Schedule Launch button.
If Schedule Launch is selected, input a launch date and time in the appropriate fields. Check the “Initially include Teammates” checkbox if you’d like teammates to be added to each employee's My Circle based on the user file hierarchy. Check the “Notify employee of My Circle Launch” checkbox if you’d like all employees to receive an email informing them of My Circle’s availability. The link labeled “Preview Email” will display the email that would be sent; this email is not customizable. Once satisfied with the configuration, click Schedule Launch. The scheduled date will then appear in the My Circle settings page.
If "Launch Now" is selected:
- Check the "Initially include Teammates" checkbox if you’d like teammates to be added to each employee's My Circle based on the user file hierarchy.
- Important Note: Direct Reports will automatically be populated for managers, regardless of whether the Initially include Teammates checkbox is selected or not.
- Check the "Notify employee of My Circle Launch" checkbox if you’d like all employees to receive an email informing them of My Circle’s availability.
- The link labeled "Preview Email" will display the email that would be sent; this email is not customizable.
Once satisfied with the configuration, click Launch Now. If the notification email checkbox was selected, the email will immediately send.
My Circle Settings
In the My Circle Settings tab, you’re able to show or hide total points within My Circle. Total Points are based on data individuals have access to. Toggle Display Points to show the points in the My Circle page, or Hide Points to keep them hidden.
In the Advanced Settings section you’re able to deactivate My Circle by selecting the Deactivate My Circle button. Doing so will immediately turn off the feature for all employees.
