Employee recognition is crucial, yet nearly 80% of the workforce isn’t regularly at a desk. This means that digital recognition tools alone may not effectively reach these offline employees. AwardCodes addresses this challenge by enhancing the recognition you’re already providing. AwardCodes are customizable codes designed to boost your employee recognition efforts. You can give AwardCodes to any employee for any reason. When employees scan the code, they are taken directly to their reward platform, with points automatically deposited into their account. It’s the perfect blend of offline recognition and powerful technology.
Once AwardCodes are configured and being used in your organization, refer AwardCode recipients to this user-facing article for instructions on how to claim their points. This AwardCodes one-sheet is also available for your reference.
Note: AwardCodes are currently only available for employees in the United States.

AwardCode Best Practices
To make the most of AwardCodes in your organization, consider these best practices:
- Create a specific budget for AwardCode points to streamline tracking and reporting.
- Hand out AwardCodes to ensure offline employees feel appreciated, especially those in the field, on the front lines, or in roles without consistent computer access.
- Use AwardCodes for rewards in contests or as incentives, letting recipients choose rewards that matter to them.
- Welcome new employees with an AwardCode, letting them redeem points for a choice of swag or experiences.
- Physical recognition helps employees feel more connected to the company, especially in roles that might otherwise feel isolated from corporate celebrations.
- Use the “Card Lookup” tab to monitor AwardCode claims, ensuring points are used effectively and budgets stay on track.
