When you transfer your files with SFTP, it provides the best opportunity to ensure smooth delivery and reception of the correct data in the correct format. This article will explain different errors you might encounter when it comes to file inaccessibility with user files sent via SFTP.
- No such file or directory
- Unable to retrieve user file from Workday
- Unable to retrieve user file from BambooHR
No such file or directory
This error indicates that the file path the webhook was given no longer contains a file of that name.
Fix: This usually means the file was renamed or removed during the upload process. Sometimes this is deliberate for testing purposes. If not, reupload the file and make sure it maintains it's location and name.
Unable to retrieve user file from Workday
This error indicates that the Workday integration could not pull the file.
Fix: The issue could be the Username, Password, or report URL. Additionally, the username assigned to Awardco could have lost permission to access the report. To identify the cause enter the Report URL from the integration into a browser and try using the Username/Password to access the report. The resulting error message should indicate what the problem is.
Unable to retrieve user file from BambooHR
This error indicates that the BambooHR integration was unable to pull the file.
Fix: The issue could be the BambooHR domain, the report ID, or the API Key. Please check with your BambooHR rep to determine the problem.
